This site will explore one path to examine the genesis of criminal CyberLaw for students working in Capitol's Information Assurance Program. The root of the Law lies in both common law and the Constitution. The common law gives us the concepts of responsibility and recourse to the courts. The Constitution gives us an understanding of why the federal government takes a major role in cyberlaw.

The site will take you to several cases of note and one source of federal criminal law, Title 18 section 1030.

We will consider property rights as the basis for civil and criminal development of Cyber Law
